Do you have a bin or a drawer full of mismatched gloves, random scarves, and various hats? Here in the northeast US, we are well into the winter weather. Dump out that bin of mismatched stuff. If you haven’t used it yet this winter, you don’t need it. There are, however, people that would have a need for your winter weather gear.
- Donate your winter weather accessories to a goodwill, homeless shelter, or thrift store.
- You could also reach out to teacher friends and see if they have a need for any extras in their classrooms for kids that are in need (or forget them).
- Post them for free on social media and see if anyone has a need.
I have said it before, but these types of items have absolutely no value to you sitting in boxes not being used and taking up space. Think about how great it will feel to know that you are able to give these to someone that can use them.
